Ok, so I haven't updated in a while- mainly because I had close to nothing to post about, but recently I recived some exciting news! So on Tuesday 28th of January i found out that I am going to Nerima-ku in Tokyo! My closest city is Shinjuku. This is really exciting because I am being hosted in Tokyo I will have heaps of oppourtunitys to attend the endless events within the city. Tokyo also has fanastic public transport so I should be able to travel to the county side often.
I am going to Keisen Junior and Senior High School in Setagaya, It's an all girls private school, and it basically looks really great. I'm not compleatley sure, but I think will be in an equivelent to a year 11 class. Through the school I will go on a 3-4 day trip to Nara and Kyoto.
OK, so host family! So basically I will live in an apartment in a huge building! I have my own room which is very exciting. I've been looking through the area via Google Maps and so far the area that I am living in seems to be very nice, and there is also a lake which you can walk around within about 1km (or less) of where I will be living. I have a host Mother, Father, an older Brother (18), a Sister(16), a younger Brother (14), and really cute white chihuahua! Overall i am extremely happy with my host family, they look like really great people. I think having a sister my own age will be really great, and also a younger brother, because in Australia I only have younger sisters and Older brothers, so It would be great to experience having a younger brother!
